I am a London-based Personal Trainer, specialising in strength and mobility. 

I work out of a private studio near Notting Hill and central London but I can travel to gyms across London to work with clients.

Fitness to me is about long term optimum health. Through a tailored combination of mobility, strength training, stretching, nutrition and lifestyle strategies you can become strong and healthy for the rest of your life. My Story

How fitness has made me strong and healthy.

Fitness has always been a big part of my life. I grew up in Devon, swimming and surfing and making the most of the beautiful countryside. Despite doing athletics and sports in school, I was far from the ‘fit’ kid in school. So my journey into fitness started with weight loss as a teenager. I tried many different diets and fads. Some of these worked, temporarily, but they were unhealthy and unsustainable. By the time I hit my mid twenties I’d consumed a lot of Ryveeta, a lot of salads and I even did the cabbage soup diet so I was well and truly sick of it and….hungry!

What started as a weight loss journey fuelled my fire to really delve into the depths of fitness and especially overall health. I’d had enough of the ‘yo-yo’ dieting, ballooning up and down in weight and going through periods of starving my body of essential nutrients just to ‘look good’. I am now passionate about living a healthy lifestyle and maintaining good life balance. I love good food and socialising, but I also love to work hard in the gym.

From athletics in school I got into long distance running. I began ticking off half marathons all over Europe to bring my love of visiting new places, and running together. However I still wasn’t happy with my physique. I worried that if I started lifting weights I would look bulky and ‘manly’. I did some research and realised this was not the case. So I picked up some weights and I’ve never looked back. The combination of weightlifting and movement exercise like Yoga and Pilates has given me the satisfaction in my physique that I had been looking for.
